THERE’S BEEN A MURDER!
***
There's Been A Murder! is a GM-less, dice-less murder mystery roleplaying game for 3-6 players. In it, you play a guest, perhaps invited, perhaps not, at an event in a far away mansion during a storm. One or more of you is planning on murdering the Host of this event, and maybe even some of the other guests. It's high time to create messy entanglements and to make your character look suspicious. Conspire with strangers, accuse your friends, suspect everyone.
There's Been A Murder! uses the Firebrands framework created by D. Vincent Baker and Meguey Baker. To play, you’ll need a few coins, some note cards, something to write with, and a few hours.

Every time I've played this game has been a delight. So happy to see it out in the world for everyone to enjoy now!
Just rated this one 5 stars. I was heavily involved in playtesting it, but still:
"One of my favorite Firebrands hacks. Its tight timeframe makes it easy to play in a few hours without feeling like you haven't had enough time to explore your characters, the setting, or the murder. It also does a great job with consent and agency while dealing with a particularly tricky topic of murder and accusations. You'll never die unless you choose to, and you always opt in to incriminate yourself.
It's a brilliant little game, and you should play it."
